Chinese Dragon

Chinese Dragon

Chinese people do not celebrate New Years like we do. For years, they have been celebrating New Years in the end of January, beginning of February. In 2005, it was 9th of February and in 2006 it will be January 29th. Celebrating New Years two times is quite cool! Give it a try and create a super Chinese dragon!

MATERIALS

To make the dragon fly, you will need: 4 paper cups made of white carton; thick orange, green, red and white paper, a stapler, scissors and PowerPritt Gel.

INSTRUCTIONS

How to create a Chinese Dragon?
    1. Paint 2 paper cups in green and 2 paper cups in orange.
    2. Use PowerPritt Gel to glue the endings together. After some minutes of drying, the Dragon body is prepared!
    3. Draw Dragon's head on the green paper and cut it. Now draw muzzle, nose, ears and eyes on the red paper and tongue on the orange paper. Draw 5 teeth and one small cell on the white paper. Cut all these forms and glue them on the dragon's head like showed on the model.  Draw the line in the eyes of the dragon with 100% black color. Use PowerPritt Gel to glue the dragon's head on the first paper cup.
    4. To design wings, glue 1 big on and 1 small green paper. Fix the big wing on the 3-paper cup and the small one on the head of the dragon - PowerPritt Stick will help you doing so. Cut out 2 circles of red paper and use them to glue the wings on the body. This gives the perfect finishing touch to your Chinese Dragon!
