Colorful Autumn Kite

Throw open the doors to autumn with this cheerful bright kite. Windows, walls or doors can be decorated for the season, easily and with little expense.

MATERIALS

Have ready at hand:

Construction paper or cardboard in green, orange, red, yellow, blue, violet, white and black
Pencil
Scissors
String
Pritt Stick
PowerPritt Stick

INSTRUCTIONS

Use the pattern to draw the parts of the kite.
Tip: You can either print out the colored motif or you can you use the black and white motif as a stencil and draw on the colored cardboard.
Cut out the motif along the lines.
Use the Pritt Stick to glue the eyes, nose and mouth onto the body of the kite.
Take the string and glue it with the PowerPritt Stick to the bottom end of the kite. The kite tail can be as long as you like.
Evenly space the colorful bows and glue them on both sides of the string and on the upper end of the kite, using the PowerPritt Stick.

Tip: If you want to use the cheerful kite as a window picture, print the pattern out twice and glue it onto the kite on both sides. A thin nylon thread is recommended for hanging.
