Rainbow Christmas tree bauble

Do you want to decorate your Christmas tree in a completely different way this year? Then we have a tip for you: paper rainbow baubles made from all the colours of the rainbow. These colourful paper baubles will be the eye catcher in your tree.

Material:

  • coloured paper
  • Pritt Magic Stick
  • thread
  • bells

Tools:

  • water glass
  • pencil
  • scissors

For parents/adults:

You can make these baubles from other kinds of paper, for example wrapping paper, tissue paper or copier paper. It is important that the paper isn't too thick.

Instructions:

Step 1

Use the glass to draw as many identical circles as you like and then cut them out. You need at least 16 identical circles: the more circles, the more full the bauble will be.

Step 2

Then fold all circles in half.

Step 3

Glue the folded circles together so that the left half of one circle is attached to the right half of another circle.

Step 4

Then glue the first and last free halves together. Place a thread in between so that you can hang the bauble up.

Step 5

Then fan the circles out and hang a little bell on for decoration.

Tips and tricks:

Single coloured paper baubles also look nice. Maybe you are daring enough to try a different shape, for example a star or heart.
