  • shoe box
  • coloured craft paper
  • large piece of green cardboard
  • sisal grass or natural bast
  • tissue paper
  • brown paper
  • coloured paper
  • flower confetti
  • thick card for the ponies
  • foam rubber or paper shreddings

  • scissors
  • Pritt PVA Craft Glue

Step 1

The shoe box serves as a basic stables. So that horses can get in and out later, you first have to construct a gate. Simply draw a rounded door in the middle of one of the longer sides. Then cut down the centre line and part way along the left and right of the arch so that the doors can be opened.

Step 2

Then cover the entire shoe box in Pritt craft glue and stick coloured paper on it. The gate and the outside walls can also then be individually decorated in corrugated card, foam rubber or tissue paper.

Step 3

Of course, the pony stables has to be surrounded by beautiful fields. Draw flowers, stick bushes made from sisal grass or natural bast and place a tree made from card and tissue paper on the green cardboard.

Step 4

A name sign on the roof gives the stables an extra personal touch. Cut out a sign from a piece of coloured paper. Then your little pony fan can write the name of their stables on it and decorate it with flower confetti etc. Then stick the sign on the roof of the stables with Pritt PVA Craft Glue.

Step 5

Now its time for the horses. The pony fan's creative mother draws a template of a pony with extra long legs to fold up on the thick card.

Step 6

Then cut them out and decorate them. Foam rubber or paper shreddings are perfect for the mane and tail.
