Magic wands are best known from fairy tales, where they are used for casting magical spells. Allow your imagination to come to life by casting your own magical spells. You could make animals talk or bring your toys to life!

Step 1

Cut out all the images from the documents that have been printed out.

Step 2

You must curl the long strips of paper that you have cut out. We do this by placing a strip of paper between the thumb and the edge of the ruler. You then hold the paper flat onto the flat side of the ruler. You then pull the paper slowly while applying light pressure to your thumb. Once you have pulled the full length of paper through, you should notice that the paper curls. Do this with all the available strips.

Step 3

Apply glue to the two large stars. Then place your wooden stick in place, so the point of the stick is in the center of the paper.

Step 4

Stick the straight parts of your curled paper to the star. The curled paper strips should be pointing upwards.

Step 5

Decorate your wand by sticking the remaining images to the wand.

You are ready to make some magic happen.

We would love to see pictures of your projects. You can ask your parents to post pictures on our Facebook wall at “Pritt world”.
